I was the Maker MOM in your robot class at the Mini Maker Faire at Tech last weekend. My robot is powered up, I have made a track for it, but, it is going around in circles. How do I reverse the direction of one motor?
That’s an easy symptom to fix. There are four inputs on the dual h-bridge. IN1, IN2, IN3 and IN4 which control the speed and direction of each motor. IN1 & IN2 are associated with one motor and IN3 & IN4 are associated with the other one. You just need to trace back the wires from the motor that’s going the wrong direction and swap the input on that input set. For instance, if the motor that’s turning the wrong direction is using IN4 as it’s control wire, just pull it off IN4 and hook it up to IN3 and the motor direction will be reversed. It’s its the other motor, just do the same thing with IN1 and IN2.
