How to Make a Robot — website lauched

This website is devoted to amateur robots and robot building.  We have free how-to articles, free robot plans and free robot advice.  Everything we offer is free of charge so don’t hesitate to come back often!

Our first robot plans is code named Mitchel and Mitchel is a very industrial robot base with rack-and-pinion steering under full servo motor control.

Robot plan #2 is a small line following robot which can be made in 2-4 hours!  We are going to post a youtube video of the finished robot, so stay tuned.

Another robot we are working on is a hexapod robot with 18 degrees of freedom.  We are targeting a total build price of $99 dollars.  Free instructional videos will be provided to build this robot.

For all three of these robot plans we offer CAD files, PCB circuit design and complete source code.  We hope you find something useful on this website and we welcome all questions and feedback.

Thanks for visiting and happy robot building!

Tim
